Very relaxingWatch out the Bean bar will make you require a to go. Beans were great. Food hot and fresh salad so large it takes 2 to finish. We will be back

Our party of five ordered a variety of foods. ALL were excellent!!! The employees were so attentive and friendly. Since I had a broken ankle and could not walk around Jefferson, I stayed at Taste of Caddo. Employees made sure that I was comfortable and well looked after. We plan on returning soon!!!!

The best place to get real home cooking in downtown Jefferson! The staff is always incredibly friendly, the restaurant is always clean, and the food is great! Well priced for the portion sizes and always a great experience! I stop here every time I’m in the area!

Chicken fried steak!! OMGoodness it was delicious. Can't wait to go back. Don't miss the bean bar and gift shop. I am ashamed I didn't get our servers name, but she was amazing.

We've been to Jefferson several times, but finally got to visit Taste of Caddo. The Bean Bar is worth the trip alone!The food was good and the portions were ample. There's lots of Caddo Lake memorabilia to give it a unique feel. The pumpkin spice Cheesecake was outstanding and our Bigfoot Burgers were perfect.I would definitely eat there again.

Very tasty food, polite atmosphere and generous portions. I had their fish and shrimp plate and enjoyed every bite of it! Very well seasoned fish/shrimp, tasty coleslaw, and loved the hush puppies! They offer complimentary beans as well to curb your hunger while your wait for your hot dinner/lunch! Great little stop with friendly folks.

We should’ve tried this place sooner! Food was fantastic and the owner, Jeanette, made rounds to check in on everyone. I had the fish platter. Both my blackened and fried fish were cooked to perfection. The fried mushrooms were also some of the best I’ve eaten! Will definitely make this stop more frequently!!

I had a hamburger and my husband had the fish and shrimp. I give the burger 5 stars and my husband says the fish and shrimp were 4 stars. He had it fried. I bet it would have been better blackened. Anyway, cute restaurant and a nice staff. Don’t be in a hurry, they make your food fresh. The lemonade was Devine!
